The world's largest solar project will be built in India and will generate 5 gigawatts energy. The project is in the planning phase, and when it's done will be extended on an area of five times larger than the current world's largest solar project.
The project construction will cost 475 million U.S. dollars, and the production phase will take place in the same location, using workers from the area and local materials, so that generated energy to be as cheaper. The project is being carried out by the Clinton Foundation and will be located in Gujarat state in western India.
The largest solar project from the present generates 900 megawatts energy and is located in the Mojave dessert from California, being developed by the BrightSource company.
